Lowered Vehicles Empty Lowered Vehicles

One of our engineers called up to say they're struggling to fit a bar to a VW Transporter that has been lowered. Due to this the bar is almost dragging on the floor. Has anyone come across this before? If so is is still possible to fit a bar?
